How much does a Tanzanian travel package cost?

Whether you’re looking for Tanzania’s most budget-friendly accommodations and activities or a luxury vacation in our highest quality hotels, Cosmos Adventure Travel Company can design a customized package to fit your needs.   Pricing is dependant on exact itinerary and the length of your trip.  For more information, please request a quote.

What is included in the price of my travel package?

The price of your package includes all food, accommodation, recreation and travel within Tanzania (including air travel from mainland Tanzania to Zanzibar). Please note that package pricing does NOT include your initial airfare to Tanzania or your flight home.  Packages do NOT include travel or medical insurance.  For more information, please request a quote.

What happens if I cancel my trip?

Trips canceled by the client at least 45 calendar days in advance are eligible for a refund amounting to half the total cost of the package.  Trips canceled by the client 44 calendar days or fewer in advance are NOT eligible for a refund.  Any trip canceled by Cosmos Adventure Travel Co. will be refunded in its entirety.

Do I need any special medications or vaccines before or during my trip?

You may wish to take steps to protect yourself from Malaria and other communicable diseases before and during your trip to Tanzania.  The U.S.’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) maintain up-to-date health information for travelers to Tanzania, including Zanzibar, and you should speak with your physician for more personalized information.

Do I need a travel visa to visit Tanzania?

You will acquire a travel visa at the airport upon arriving in Tanzania.

Can I drink tap water in Tanzania?

In general, while in Tanzania, you should avoid drinking tap water or using it to brush your teeth or wash food.  Bottled water will be available throughout your trip.
