Day 1–2: Arrive in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania! Spend the early days of your trip exploring the markets and museums of Tanzania’s most populous city. You can even enjoy a home-cooked meal in a local family’s home.
Day 3–8: Take a short plane trip to Kilimanjaro Airport. Expect to see lions, rhinos, elephants, Cape buffalo, giraffes and more up close as you traverse majestic Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and Serengeti National Parks. Visit a Maasai village.
Day 9–12: Another short flight brings you to the Zanzibar Archipelago for a relaxing island getaway. Snorkel at Bawe Island, explore the ancient alleyways of Stone City, and, sample the world-famous local spices and incredible local cuisine at the Night Market, a surreal shopping experience unlike any other.
